Meet our team

Tim Robertson
Founder
Tim has worked in the financial communications sector for 20 years. He founded Novella in May 2013 having worked for leading financial public relations agencies in the UK and Australia. Tim has led numerous financial communication campaigns for UK-listed companies and for multinational companies seeking to address audiences worldwide. He continues to advise a range of senior business leaders on all areas of communication with financial and corporate audiences.

Chris Marsh
Partner
A corporate broker by background, formerly head of small cap corporate broking at UBS, Chris specialises in the small-mid cap section of the market. In addition to his role with Novella, Chris has small company experience as a director of various quoted and private companies. He was a non-executive Director at Hilton Food Group Plc and CVS Group Plc.

Claire de Groot
Partner
Claire has over twenty years’ capital markets experience and was formerly a top-ranked equity analyst and equity specialist sales professional at Morgan Stanley and Citigroup, covering corporates across the consumer staples and luxury goods sectors. Claire worked on a number of transactions and IPOs in the small and mid-cap space during this time. Claire joined Novella in 2021.

Safia Colebrook
Account Executive
Safia has a degree in English and History of Art from the University of Leeds, and prior to joining Novella spent time working at the Evening Standard. Safia has been involved with the research, planning and execution of communications strategies, working to support both individual projects and companies.
